Dealer Sales Representative

Our client is a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles here in Canada! Experts in low-speed vehicles, like ATVs, UTVS, and golf carts, the company has been dedicated to pioneering sustainable transportation solutions in Canada. Now, they’re looking for a Sales Representative with experience selling into dealer networks to help them continue to expand their presence across the country. 
 
Role Overview:
This company is seeking a dynamic Dealer Sales Representative to expand the company’s market share and dealer network across Canada. 
 
TheDealer Sales Representative will play a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, focusing on both maintaining existing accounts and targeting new business opportunities. The successful candidate will build new dealer partnerships –particularly in Western Canada.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to increase market share and revenues.
  • Focus on expanding the dealer network across Canada, with an emphasis on Western Canada.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts while also targeting new business opportunities.
  • Travel regularly, with approximately 10 overnight trips per year.
  • Exceed sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, growth targets, and activity KPIs.
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer relationships and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within a related industry.
  • Proven experience working with distribution channels.
  • Strong sales acumen, industry knowledge, and an established distribution network are highly desirable.
  • Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area and willing to commute to the Scarborough office.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: a $70,000 to 90,000 base + commissions (with flexibility for the right candidate!)
