Our client is a high-growth farm tech company that plays in a $19B global market and is disrupting Canada’s food systems by bringing affordable, sustainable, and local products to market. They have raised over $7M in funding and already have an impressive list of customers across retail and food services including Metro, Goodfood, and Pusateri’s. With a successful year behind them and very exciting expansion plans and looking for an experienced CPG salesperson excited to join a pre-IPO company on the ground floor.
About the Role: Territory Account Manager
- This is an individual contributor sales role that offers the flexibility to work from a home office
- Responsible for growing market share and developing new retail and food service accounts across the GTA
- Lead trade marketing efforts + work with merchandising team to run product promotions and sampling at store levels
- Meet with key decision makers and buyers face to face
- Reporting to the CEO
Required experience
- 3+ years of CPG sales experience, ideally selling into retailers and food services
- Strong understanding of trade marketing especially to Loblaws
- Ideally based in the GTA and able to meet customers on a regular basis
- Thrive in autonomous work environments
