Growing up as an only child meant that I had to be resourceful in my approach to finding new friends. When I was 8 years old, I went door to door along my street to find out which houses had kids and simply asked them to be my friend. I guess you could say I’ve never been shy and discovered my love for talking to people pretty early on.

I went to the University of Ottawa and graduated with a degree in Communications. Throughout my studies, I played intramural soccer, volleyball, and held a few jobs. I worked in restaurants and as a clerk at the Ottawa General Hospital. Both of these jobs were fast paced and helped me develop excellent client service skills. I love working in an environment where no two days are the same and you’re constantly meeting new people.

After University, I started working for the Federal government and gained a lot of experience working in different areas of human resources. While working in the Learning and Development Directorate, I helped build e-learning products and hosted many webinar and in person presentations. I realized how much I loved the client interaction part of the job and decided to change career directions and focus on finding something that best suited my social skills. For the first time in my life I was going after a job not only that interests me, but that I believe I can be great at and that’s how I ended up here, with Sales Talent Agency.
