On Target Income

On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client is a data visualization application designed to promote transparency across the organization. The company's application syncs into the organization's master roadmap, enabling companies to visualize their product roadmap and communicate the strategic plan throughout the organization.
 
The company has gone through immense growth and they are looking for high performing an experienced VP, Revenue with a track record of scaling revenue teams from Series A to B.
 
The position:
  • Transform the revenue team to a high performing growth-oriented organization and lead the current team including individual contributors and people leaders
  • Create a high-performance culture, marked by accountability and continuous improvement; importing best practices
  • Shape, scale and lead the Sales/Accounts team on both pre and post sales to maximize on a land-and-expand model
  • Work cross-functionally with RevOps and Marketing to guide internal processes and standards forward and implement new sales processes as well
  • Work with Product Management to share observations on market needs and product requirements
  • Forecast and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Understand the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position our products to win
  • Develop and maintain a performance tracking plan for team members through their career development
 
About You:
  • Experience selling in the DevOps space
  • 2+ years managing a Customer Experience / Customer Success team
  • 5+ years of management/leadership experience for a new business team in a land and expand model
  • You are a builder and driver who loves hunting and farming
  • You have experience managing the full customer lifecycle and finding, closing and keeping customers happy and expanding
  • You are very hands on and operational. You take a ?player-coach? approach, being on the field and in the trenches with your team and helping to advance key customer relationships
  • Strong sales coaching skills to bring up team members 10+ years of direct selling experience in B2B SaaS environments, ideally with high-volume trial-initiated products
  • You have a track record of success > exceeding team sales quotas and achieving sales KPIs Natural influencer who can build bridges for cross commercial collaboration
  • Data driven and able to utilize sales inputs to be able to make decisions that improve conversion and overall deal size
  • You?ve built strong Sales and Customer Experience processes in the past
  • You have experience selling to / supporting markets in time zones outside North America
  • Previous experience launching new products to marketing considered an asset
