Our clients is a distributor of premium design materials for interior and exterior applications in the commercial and residential space. The are in business to “inspire, educate, solve and supply” in collaboration with multidisciplinary design and fabrication communities who create environments that enrich the lives of people wherever they live, work, play, shop or gather.They are looking for a candidate that is part of the STA NEXT program, in search of bringing on a Outside Sales Consultant to join their team. 
About the Role:
As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and identifying new potential customers. You'll acquire new customers, grow existing accounts and connect them with the best solutions to make their businesses thrive. With the support of your collaborative team and experienced leaders, you will undergo extensive training, receive ongoing support and get the tools you need to succeed.
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Develop strong business relationships with assigned accounts and assist in creating proposals and presentations targeted at solving business needs of prospects and existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue new potential customers in the Kitchen & Bath space. 
  • Develop and manage large project opportunities throughout the  planning stage to completion.  
  • Conduct continuing education unit (CEU) and product presentations to better inform and educate downstream customers. 
  • Develop and demonstrate in-depth understanding of the stone industry with proficiency in the residential/commercial design process, project lifecycle, construction industry, LEED and sustainability issues.
  • Network through industry events and local associations such as CSC, ARIDO, IDC
  • Execute the launch of new products by educating and providing clients with samples, literature and technical support.
