Our client is a dynamic and innovative education platform and brand franchisor operating across five distinct brands. With a strong presence across US, Canada, and UK markets, they are dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for multiple levels of education and vocational training.  They are seeking a VP of marketing to drive a holistic approach to marketing at both a national and franchisor level. 
With offices in Richmond Hill and Boca Raton, they are looking for someone in one of these locations.
Team Structure and Leadership:
  • Assess and understand the current structure of the marketing department, which includes nine individuals.
  • Lead and manage the existing team.
  • Work collaboratively with the outgoing senior leader in marketing to ensure a smooth transition.
Marketing Strategy and Brand Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses both traditional and digital channels.
  • Oversee varying campaigns to build brand awareness at a national level.
  • Support individual franchisor’s marketing strategies to drive local community engagement and enrolment across all brands. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement fresh approaches to marketing.
Franchisee Support:
  • Collaborate with franchisees to provide marketing direction and support, assisting them in utilizing their marketing budgets effectively.
  • Bridge the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring a harmonious relationship that drives lead generation and enrolment.
Performance Metrics and Budget Management:
  • Establish key performance metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives, focusing on lead generation and enrolment.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets across all brands to achieve cost-effective customer acquisition.
Expansion and Revenue Growth:
  • Analyze the effectiveness of current marketing channels and develop strategies to contribute to brand expansion and revenue growth.
  • Ensure a balanced approach between traditional and digital marketing channels.
Website Optimization and SEO:
  • Improve the user experience of their websites, ensuring a compelling and attractive customer journey.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to enhance organic clicks and leads and ensure the correct positioning is in place to drive enrolment.
Brand Messaging and Collateral:
  • Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging, both online and offline, aligning with the unique offerings of each brand.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
Senior Management Team Involvement:
  • Act as a key member of the senior management team, participating in leadership meetings and contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Play a vital role in shaping the company's overall direction and vision.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in marketing, with a track record of successfully leading diverse marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills, with the ability to take a broader perspective on marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with traditional and digital marketing, at a local and national level.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing customer acquisition costs.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and external partners. Creating cohesion amongst the corporate team and franchisors.
  • Knowledge of SEO and website optimization for enhanced user experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on building a cohesive and collaborative team.
