Our client is now looking for an Accountant to join their growing team in Woking, UK!
About the role:
- Executing monthly reporting procedures in line with UK GAAP and US GAAP
- Monitoring compliance with company-wide accounting policies and procedures
- Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting
- Actively communicating with other team members of Finance team and other
departments (Managing Director, IT) - Monitoring ERP data reliability
- Assisting with external audits
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field
- Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience.
- Ability to meet monthly reporting deadline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Highly detail-oriented, structured and organised
- Customer Mindset: Exceptional customer experience is primary focus while performing
job duties. Quality is a top priority. - Adaptability & Innovation: Proactively and willingly adapts to changing business needs
and conditions and presents creative and fresh ideas on how to solve problems, gain
efficiencies and improve quality. - Relationship Building: Builds constructive working relationships characterised by a high

Nice to have:
- Previous public practice experiences (ideally the Big 4 at some point)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP
- Previous working US GAAP experience
- Previous Oracle experience
