Business Development Representative
The role: Business Development Representative

Our client is a leading Energy Services Company (ESCO) in the Greater Toronto Area which has been in business since 1985. Our client specializes in the multi-residential market with an emphasis on high rise condominiums.
They are committed to generating substantial energy savings through energy management systems & monitoring, individual metering & billing, energy consulting and energy retrofits. They offer turnkey solutions including sub-metering, lighting, variable frequency drives, boiler retrofits, carbon monoxide monitoring and more.
The primary focus of this role is to assist Major Account Executives by hunting for and qualifying leads in the Multi-residential construction space. You will be using Salesforce & Zoominfo to contact developers, property owners, property management companies, and condo corporations across the GTA. This role has a unique opportunity to step into a full-cycle Account Executive position within 18-24 months.

Compensation:
- $60k base salary + $18k in guaranteed first year commissions.
- Guaranteed first year income of $78k.

About you:
- 1-2 years sales experience with demonstrated success in cold calling & cold prospecting
- Experience in qualifying prospects using CRM software such as Zoominfo & Salesforce
- Demonstrated history of achieving KPIs in past positions
- Strong problem solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- A motivated, driven and self-starting attitude
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
