District Relationship Manager - Income Trust Wholesaler
Our client is one of the fastest growing, non-traditional private lending companies in Canada, specializing in home equity and residential mortgage financing. Their Income Trust product takes advantage of the strength of the real estate market and offers attractive returns.
They have established relationships in geographically diverse urban markets across Canada over the past 25 years and are well positioned in the market.
They are growing and are looking to add a wholesaler in the District Relationship Manager position to their team in Alberta.
Role Overview:
The objective is to develop a thorough understanding of real estate investment products, business development, and service the needs of IIROC and EMD Advisors by maintaining regular contact with them.
**The territory will include West Toronto to London, north to Sarnia.

Role Overview:

Responsibilities Include:
- One-on-one meetings and branch presentations, and telephone, email and conference calls
- Build investor interest in products and offerings using marketing materials
- Perform marketing functions using various methods including networking and seminars
- Communicate the particulars of investment offerings and products to IIROC and EMD Advisors
- Prepare and present presentations
- Provide communication to distribution list
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Provide updates to potential and existing advisors
- Obtain approval of any agreements or arrangements from management
- Work closely with Compliance to build advisor interest in investment offering
- Comply with regulatory and registration requirements applicable to the role
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services sales
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience with Maximizer an asset
- Experience preparing and conducting sales presentations
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and multi-task
- Canadian Securities Institute (CSI certification preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Salary plus commission
