About the role: Senior Sales Executive, Western Canada

As a part of the organization's succession plan, they are looking to replace a longstanding employee who will be retiring in 2022. The new hire will be inheriting and taking over a well-established book of business.

  • Responsible for growing revenue across Western Canada with both existing and new customers
  • Inherit a well-established book of existing business with ~$1M in revenue
  • 80% of sales activities will be focused on account management and expansion within existing accounts
  • 20% of sales activities will be focused on identifying opportunities with new accounts 
  • Territory: Western Canada (with a focus on the Calgary and Alberta markets) 
  • Targeted Accounts: Enterprise organizations with 500+ employees
  • Targeted decision makers: C-suite executives within HR or Learning & Development departments
  • Size of Accounts targeted: 500+ employees 
  • This is a home-based role and will not require you to report into an office


Compensation

  • Competitive base salary and total income of $150K year 1 (uncapped)
  • $20K of guaranteed commission during ramp-up
  • Mileage reimbursement + Company AMEX for expenses

Required Experience 

  • Must have 5-7 years of B2B sales experience working with large enterprise customers
  • Previous experience within professional services, training, or HR consulting space
  • You have sold to senior business leaders within HR, Operations, or Learning and development teams
  • You excel at driving strategic discussions with c-suite stakeholders and aligning business objectives 
  • You are highly independent and self-directed + strong business acumen + entrepreneurial mindset 
  • MUST be able to travel to the US
