On Target Income

On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client is a leading network systems integrator and national IP infrastructure company providing network systems planning, integration, installation, and support services across Canada. They design and build IP networks that converge systems, allowing the customer to take full advantage of emerging innovations with future-ready infrastructures. 


Our client is seeking a driven and tenacious hunter to join their sales team. As an Account Executive, the primary focus will be to maintain existing client relationships and build new relationships within targeted accounts. The AE will have the tools to drive growth within accounts by providing solution offerings in Physical Security, WiFi, AV, Cabling Infrastructure, Microsoft Teams and Managed Services. 


About the role:

  • Execute and expand assigned customer account plans
  • Increase billing margins through selling value added services
  • Prospect targeted customers through cold calling and referrals
  • Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale
  • Utilize sales management tools for sales planning and documenting opportunities
  • Develop and grow product knowledge through training provided by Activo
  • Work on deals ranging from $50K to $250K (SME to Enterprise)
  • Sales cycles - 3-6 months on average
  • Sell to Director / Manager level - IT, Facilities, Infrastructure etc

About you: 

 

  • 2+ years of full cycle hunting B2B sales experience 
  • Technically savvy with experience selling at least 2 of the following services: physical security, WIFI, AV, Cabling infrastructure, Microsoft Teams, Managed Services 
  • Experience speaking to decision makers at the director level 
  • Growth mindset with the desire to advance in an organization 


What’s in it for you: 

 

  • Base salary starting at $70,000 with a range above depending on experience
  • Commissions paid monthly, with an OTE expectation of $150,000
  • Additional annual bonus structure based on company-wide performance  
  • $700/month car allowance
