Sarah Anne Alfonsi
Account Manager, Toronto
Four years ago, I was in my first year of university and attended a Women in Leadership networking event on campus. I was asked to participate in the first year of STA’s Great Canadian Sales Competition by filming a 60 second sales pitch on the spot. As a passionate NFL fan, I chose to pitch “Why people should watch NFL football”. After filming the pitch, I didn’t think much of it until one month later when I received an email during Economics class saying that I had won the Google Sales Pitch Challenge. I later found out that I was also a semi-finalist for GCSC! Fast forward 3.5 years, and here I am starting my career with STA.
I am a recent Honours Bachelor of Business Administration graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University. My studies and experiences have provided me with cross-industry knowledge that has taught me to think critically and apply a variety of viewpoints to all situations. I was on the Dean’s List all 4 years of university and was actively involved on campus in a variety of volunteer positions and intramural teams. I was also a Teaching Assistant for first-year business students. In my fourth year, I completed a semester abroad in Milan, Italy which was an unforgettable and life changing experience! Throughout my education, I held various co-op positions at Deloitte, RBC and Rogers Communications, all dominant leaders in their respective industries. These positions gave me valuable exposure to different sectors, functional areas, and further expanded my communication and interpersonal skills.
My role as an Account Manager allows me to utilize my people skills and educational background while developing key relationships with clients. I am excited to begin my career with Sales Talent Agency and to be a member of the dynamic team!
For the love of sales!
