Being the youngest of three boys in my family developed a very competitive spark in me. It allowed me to have role models from a young age but also have competition – a bar had been set by my brothers and I always strived to be better. I believe this is a trait that followed me into hockey and soccer. I loved playing sports, the competitiveness was great, but I more enjoyed the relationships it created and team working skills I gained.
Growing up I had the same dream that I am sure many other Canadians had; playing professional hockey. While I had an immense passion for the game, the reality of it turning into a career grew less likely with every passing year. After high school I decided to take some time to live with friends, travel, and explore my musical creativity by going to school for Audio Engineering & Music Production.
I also worked my way up to a management position at Earls Kitchen + Bar. While I developed relationships and skills that will last a lifetime, it drove me to want something more. When I enrolled in BCIT’s Marketing Management program I was not sure exactly what I wanted to do, just that I wanted to get a highly regarded qualification from one of BC’s top education establishments. It was not until after graduation when Sales Talent Agency approached me, that I was confident I had found a company and career path that, I cannot only be proud of, but utilize my passion for building relationships, drive to succeed and helping others.
I am incredibly excited to start my career at Sales Talent Agency, and cannot wait to see where it takes me!
For the love of sales!
