While attending Niagara College for Professional Golf Management I realized my dream early on was to become a professional golfer and teach the game to others. While completing my education I was able to attain my Canadian Professional Golf Class A Card and made the transition out of school working for private golf clubs. I worked very long days in order to improve my game of golf so I could become a CPGA Golf Professional. It was during this time that I realized that with consistent and persistent effort, I can succeed to my potential. My mantra was “every shot”, which I continue to practice. I need to make every shot or opportunity matter every day. I learned early on that I had an aptitude for helping others and building relationships on and off the golf course. I thoroughly enjoyed the new relationships and networking the golf industry brought into my personal and professional life. While working as a golf professional can be rewarding having many benefits, there are a lot of uncertainties when the season ends in November and you are waiting for the next Spring. Working with members from respected industries and occupations, I’ve always been open to learning new things and have benefited from the conversations and exposure I had daily at the golf club. My relationship with members fortunately led me to my position with Sales Talent Agency.
I personally utilized Sales Talent Agency when looking for a sales position and fortunately through this process realized that working with them to achieve their goals; I in turn will achieve mine. Sales Talent Agency is helping people and companies merge and find success. Realizing the human element ultimately is the key to economic success from all perspectives has made me very passionate about the platform STA uses. I thoroughly enjoyed my interview process which was unique and unlike any other experience I have had. Armin helped me prepare and motivates me to be the best I can be while helping learn the intricacies of the industry. Right away I knew that Sales Talent Agency was going to be a great place to start a new career and build on my strengths from my previous career. Sales Talent Agency promotes growth and the ability to take my previous networking skills and add new ones to help build towards being a successful Account Manager.
One of my strengths is my ability to create professional and personal relationships with clients. I was able to learn this skill through my past job as a Golf Professional. I am always willing to assist those who I am working in any way possible and have an eagerness to secure professional relationships with my colleagues and clients. This is an exciting time to be joining a company that is growing every year and I look forward to the next adventure with Sales Talent Agency.
