Business Development Manager (Remote – Canada)
 
With the flexibility to work 100% remotely anywhere in Canada, this is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling SaaS platform that powers customer engagement for some of the world’s most regulated industries. Our client is growing quickly, and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in building and leading our high-performing sales development function.
 
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll lead and develop a team of BDRs while shaping the foundation for future growth. This is not a quota-carrying role; your success will be measured by the team’s ability to generate qualified pipeline and hit targets. 
 
Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 BDRs to consistently exceed quotas
  • Build out the structure, goals, and requirements for the BDR function
  • Define and optimize territories and outreach strategies (focus on North America/US)
  • Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, pipeline growth, and market expansion
  • Drive a culture of accountability, learning, and professional growth within the team

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience as a BDM or progression from BDR → AE → Manager
  • Open to strong performers currently in Senior BDR / Team Lead roles ready for the next step
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding targets in SaaS sales
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Passion for mentoring and developing talent, with an interest in broader career paths beyond sales

Key Details

  • Compensation: OTE $150,000 (base $95,000, depending on candidate experience)
  • Location: 100% Remote (Canada-based)
