Enterprise Account Executive

Our client is a disrupter in upstream analysis in the Oil and Gas industry. They offer the fastest analysis platform in energy. It unites forecasting, type curves, economics, mapping, modeling, and net zero planning in a single workflow. They are expanding their sales team and are building out their enterprise business unit, they are looking for a seasoned enterprise account executive to join their team.
 
The business is seeking a unique candidate with a strong background in both the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry and SaaS sales, preferably located close to Texas. The role involves a mix of hunting for new accounts and expanding existing ones across the US. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by securing new enterprise-level accounts and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust and organized customer pipeline of approximately $1M
  • Conduct online technology demonstrations to effectively showcase the value proposition of our software.
  • Handle contract preparation, invoicing, and other administrative duties to ensure the seamless closure and documentation of sales processes.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, continually updating colleagues and leadership with relevant insights.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new product features and their potential impact on prospective and existing clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce to accurately input, update, and manage information pertaining to leads, prospects, and opportunities.
  • Develop tailored growth strategies for individual accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated self-starter mentality with a track record of devising effective outreach strategies for lead generation.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Track record of closing multiple 200K-300K ARR deals and achieving or exceeding a $1.2M-$1.5M quota.
  • Strong understanding of the O&G industry – preferably in upstream segment.
  • Aptitude for articulating complex workflows in a clear and organized manner.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Deep comprehension of the energy industry, including its trends and challenges.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the capability to establish rapport with C-level executives and decision-makers within energy companies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Competence in managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through contract negotiation to deal closure.
  • Emphasis on selling solutions rather than mere products, emphasizing the value and benefits of our SaaS solution.
  • Proficient in leveraging data and analytics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to refine sales strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a manner accessible to non-technical decision-makers in the energy sector.
