How FormHero partnered with Sales Talent Agency to make 8 critical hires to scale its go-to-market team during the global pandemic.

The Challenge

FormHero is a SmartForm solutions provider focused on making data collection simple and incredibly secure. Its SaaS solution transforms traditional paperwork and data collection into an intuitive, accurate and elegant experience for its clients that include many of Canada’s largest enterprises, including banks, insurance companies, retail chains, and government agencies.

FormHero was looking to rapidly scale its company and take on bigger challenges, but to do so they had to grow their go-to-market team by making critical Enterprise Account Executive, Account Manager and Solution Engineer hires. Not only did they need to make these critical hires during the global pandemic, these hires needed to meet specific criteria, including having experience selling to Tier 1 enterprises in the Banking, Insurance, or Public Sector industries.


The Solution

In April 2020, FormHero engaged Sales Talent Agency (STA) to help them make these critical hires. To get things started, STA connected with FormHero’s hiring team to better understand the scope of the sales infrastructure they were looking to put in place and to come up with a solution that best suited their hiring needs. 

After engaging with FormHero, Sales Talent Agency realized that to help them build an award-winning sales infrastructure, FormHero would need access to a technical sales recruitment professional that was 100% focused on their needs, and that could truly consult with its team on the types of roles they should hire for due to their complex technical nature and the candidates best suited for the roles.

The solution was STA’s Rent-A-Recruiter product, which garnered FormHero access to an expertly trained, full-time technical recruitment employee, access to a higher volume of qualified candidates, and gave them the ability to extend the length of the project at any time.


The Result

Sales Talent Agency was brought on to help FormHero make critical go-to-market hires, quickly. Through the course of this 18 week Rent-A-Recruiter project, FormHero interviewed 45 candidates, which led them to make 8 elite sales hires. 

FormHero originally brought Sales Talent Agency on to hire for three critical vacancies through this project. Not only was FormHero able to make its Enterprise Account Executive, Account Manager, and Solution Engineer hires, it was additionally able to hire five more great candidates to their team, including another Enterprise Account Executive, three Solutions Engineers, and an Implementation Specialist.
