How Daylight partnered with Sales Talent Agency to make 8 critical hires to scale its go-to-market team during the global pandemic.

Daylight was looking to rapidly scale its company and take on bigger challenges, but to do so it had to grow its go-to-market team by making critical enterprise account executive, account manager and solution engineer hires. Not only did it need to make these critical hires during the global pandemic, these hires needed to meet specific criteria, including having experience selling to Tier 1 enterprises in the Banking, Insurance, or Public Sector industries.
In April 2020, Daylight engaged Sales Talent Agency (STA) to help make these critical hires. To get things started, STA connected with Daylight’s hiring team to better understand the scope of the sales infrastructure it was looking to put in place and to come up with a solution that best suited its hiring needs.
After engaging with Daylight, Sales Talent Agency realized that to help them build an award-winning sales infrastructure, Daylight would need access to a technical sales recruitment professional that was 100% focused on its needs, and that could truly consult with its team on the types of roles they should hire for due to their complex technical nature and the candidates best suited for the roles.
The solution was STA’s Rent-A-Recruiter product, which garnered Daylight access to an expertly trained, full-time technical recruitment employee, access to a higher volume of qualified candidates, and gave it the ability to extend the length of the project at any time.
Sales Talent Agency was brought on to help Daylight make critical go-to-market hires, quickly. Through the course of this 18 week Rent-A-Recruiter project, the Daylight hiring team interviewed 45 candidates, which led them to make 8 elite sales hires.
Daylight originally brought Sales Talent Agency on to hire for three critical vacancies through this project. Not only was Daylight able to make its enterprise account executive, account manager, and solution engineer hires, it was additionally able to hire five more great candidates to their team, including another enterprise account executive, three solutions engineers, and an implementation specialist.
