On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client is a leading provider of digital safety management solutions, offering products that raise the standards of excellence in safety across multiple industries such as Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, and more.
 
They just celebrated their best-ever quarter as a company fuelled by a great team and powerful technology, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to contribute to their continued success. As the first line of communication with prospects, you must excel at developing new relationships, build rapport with ease, and possess excellent problem-solving skills within a team. 
 
The Role
  • Leveraging modern sales technology, build a pipeline of prospective opportunities over the phone, email, and social media.
  • Build rapport with prospects and develop an understanding of their business problems through thoughtful questions and conversation.
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to drive opportunities toward successful closes with detailed notes, regular communication, and strong organization.
About You
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and organized; you will be part of a highly collaborative team and must be able to work together effectively while working remotely!
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent active listening to help uncover and understand prospects' business challenges.
  • Experience in sales (B2C or B2B) is an asset; software sales is a big bonus!
  • Experience in industries similar to the client base these solutions help is an asset (e.g., Manufacturing, Energy, Construction, etc.)
What They Offer
  • $60K salary and $75K on-target earnings (upward flexibility for someone with B2B sales experience)
