Business Development Manager

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities across North America’s transportation market.
- Build strategic relationships with decision-makers at SMB and enterprise clients.
- Exceed negotiated sales quotas through proactive prospecting and consultative selling.
- Partner with a 60–80‑member support team across operations, customer service, marketing, and billing.
- Design and present tailored logistics solutions leveraging both asset-based and brokerage capabilities.
- Ensure ongoing account satisfaction and retention, translating feedback into service improvements.
- 5+ years of brokerage or logistics sales experience, with demonstrated success in new business development.
- Results‑driven approach, focused on gross profit metrics.
- Self‑motivated and effective in a remote-first setting, with strategic travel as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; personable, confident, and collaborative.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales technology tools.
- Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
- Commission: 10% on gross profit (with options for a lower base & higher commission model!)
