Our client is growing quickly, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in building and leading our high-performing sales development function.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll lead and develop a team of BDRs while shaping the foundation for future growth. This is not a quota-carrying role; your success will be measured by the team's ability to generate qualified pipeline and hit targets.

Our client is growing quickly, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in building and leading our high-performing sales development function.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll lead and develop a team of BDRs while shaping the foundation for future growth. This is not a quota-carrying role; your success will be measured by the team's ability to generate qualified pipeline and hit targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 BDRs to consistently exceed quotas
- Build out the structure, goals, and requirements for the BDR function
- Define and optimize territories and outreach strategies (focus on North America/US)
- Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, pipeline growth, and market expansion
- Drive a culture of accountability, learning, and professional growth within the team
- Experience as a BDM or progression from BDR → AE → Manager
- Open to strong performers currently in Senior BDR / Team Lead roles ready for the next step
- Track record of hitting and exceeding targets in SaaS sales
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing talent, with an interest in broader career paths beyond sales
- Compensation: OTE $150,000 (base $95,000, depending on candidate experience)
- Location: 100% Remote (Canada-based)
- Territory: North America focus, with global expansion opportunities
