We have partnered with a leading company in the fresh produce and packaged goods industry, recognized for producing premium apples and related CPG products. With a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, this company is a trusted supplier to major retailers across North America.
 
They are seeking a dynamic Account Executive with a strong focus on sales and business development within retail environments. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Business Development Efforts: Drive new business across retail channels by expanding product presence and building new partnerships.
  • Big Box Grocery: Walmart, Sobeys, Metro, Loblaws, Giant Tiger
  • Specialty Retail: Canadian Tire, TJX
  • Food Service: Starbucks and similar accounts
  • Gas & Convenience: Emerging opportunity for new business
  • Trade Shows: Attend key U.S. events to promote and expand sales
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong relationships with retail partners and distributors.
  • Strategic Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase product visibility, drive sales, and expand retail footprint.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with decision-makers across grocery chains and foodservice accounts to secure new business opportunities and manage retail growth.
  • Revenue Goals: Meeting and exceeding target
Compensation:
  • Base Salary: $80k+
  • Bonus: 15% 
  • Car Allowance: Monthly allowance + gas card
  • Estimated OTE: $130k-$140k
 
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), with a strong focus on retail and business development.
  • Proven track record of driving new business development in retail environments (grocery, specialty, food service).
  • Account management experience, with the ability to maintain relationships while expanding sales.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with trade show participation and face-to-face meetings with clients.
