The Opportunity:
As Business Development Manager, you will identify and securing new business while developing long-term customer relationships. This is a true hunter role designed for someone who enjoys building a book of business and creating lasting partnerships.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify opportunities within manufacturing, construction, agriculture, energy, and industrial markets. (Strong preference for experience working with major oil & gas and industrial companies)
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with operations to ensure exceptional customer service and successful customer onboarding.
- Represent the company at industry events.
- Proven success in transportation business development.
- Experience selling asset-based transportation, ideally within flatbed, open-deck, heavy haul, specialized, or industrial transportation.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently win new business and exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of transportation operations and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a large territory independently.
- $110K-$120K base salary, plus uncapped commissions
- Earn a 3% commission on net revenue growth
