Georgia Masaki

Senior Account Manager, Vancouver

Throughout my childhood and university years, I sung in numerous choirs. Choral singing is all about blend. It requires teamwork in a very pure sense, where the collective voice is always much more than the sum of its parts. And, as a soloist, I learned that while my voice may seem distinct, it is made more beautiful by the support of the choir. Singing with others has taught me so much about collaboration, discipline, and achievement. I continue to carry these values with me!

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of British Columbia. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I had the opportunity to work in marketing and recruitment for UBC’s Faculty of Applied Science for both their undergraduate and professional graduate degree programs. It was in this role that I realized my love for building productive relationships and helping individuals meet their career goals. I particularly enjoyed business communications and facilitating professional development.

I recently completed my Master of Management at UBC’s Sauder School of Business. My master’s program challenged me to work with a diverse cohort, excel within a broad range of business functions, and grow into an effective leader. My program also required that I reflect on the career I’d like to build on the foundation of my key strengths and values.

As I begin my career journey with Sales Talent Agency, I’m so happy to have found a company with which my values align and within which I can leverage my skills in communications, organization, and management. I’m excited to develop my recruitment skills with such a creative, accomplished, and supportive team.

For the love of sales!
