Netty Kim-Hull


The common theme as to what I find most fulfilling no matter what role I am in, is empowering others and helping people achieve their goals. 

I spent practically my whole life up to the age of 21 inside of a skating rink – but the sacrifice that goes along with being an elite athlete was well worth it. It allowed me to travel the world to places I would not have seen had I not been on the National Figure Skating Team. It gave me the opportunity to experience the rush of performing in front of thousands of people, but most importantly, it taught me what it means to be truly focused and dedicated. 

Since then, my professional career path has been a blend of marketing communication, sales and client management. 

At the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary, I first tapped into my passion for selling something I believe in, where I acquired sponsorships to fund support programs and services for Canadian Olympic athletes. 

At State Farm, my inner entrepreneur was awakened and I dove headfirst into the opportunity to build my own insurance agency from scratch in an extremely competitive market. But it fuelled my love for sales and approaching clients in a holistic way to provide client-focused solutions. I was then selected by the company to develop and deliver a coaching program to other insurance agents across Canada to help increase their financial services productivity. 

When I first joined Sales Talent Agency, it sparked a fire in me as I was introduced to the world of recruitment. What I found most exciting was being able to help people find a role where they could flourish in their careers, and at the same time help clients find their best people. 

At League, I had the opportunity to spearhead the Customer Success team and pioneer establishing their customer journey. I worked with SMB to Enterprise level companies, helping clients onboard their employees onto a groundbreaking group benefits platform, and got to experience what it was like to work at a rapidly growing, high profile startup tech company. 

And now I am back home at STA, and excited to be working with the Executive Search team. Recruitment is a perfect marriage of keeping the entrepreneurial spirit alive, helping people and being rewarded for going the extra mile every time. I have finally found the right fit. – and now I get to help others do the same.
