The company is hiring its first Sales Development Representative in North America. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the SDR will build and execute the outbound engine for this market, converting targeted prospecting and inbound interest into qualified product demonstrations.
Core Mandate
- Own outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified discovery calls and demonstrations
- Qualify and follow up on inbound leads before handoff to the sales team
- Research target accounts to inform relevant, personalized outreach
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Vancouver-based Sales Consultant to align outbound activity with North American growth goals
- Contribute to the development of outbound sequences and playbooks as the SDR function is built from the ground up
What You Bring
- 1–2+ years in a sales development, business development, or inside sales role, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology
- Proven outbound prospecting ability: Comfortable owning cold outreach by phone, email, and LinkedIn, as well as handling inbound leads
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools; able to maintain clean records within a structured process
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to craft relevant outreach without relying on templates
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; this is a first-of-its-kind role in this market
- Based in Vancouver, BC; able to work from the Mount Pleasant office ~2 days/week (or more, if you like!)
What They Offer
- Base salary: $55,000 CAD; OTE $78,000 CAD
- Performance-based path to Sales Consultant (AE)
