Year Two of Presenting My Take on ‘A Life In Sales’ to UBC Sauder Students

Recently I returned for my second annual visit to UBC’s Sauder School of Business for the Careers in Business Development information session. Here I got the chance to share my industry knowledge of sales, why I love it, and the opportunities that sales jobs have to offer to students. It is always exciting to get the chance to tell my personal story of how I got into sales and how it led to my co-creation of Sales Talent Agency – Canada’s #1 sales recruitment company. With my experience in the industry I give students a well-rounded view of a life in sales – including the great parts and the not so great parts.

My goal was to inform students of all different levels (BCOMM, MBA and MASTERS) what it honestly takes to survive in the industry and why it really can be worth taking a sales profession on. It is important that people at the college level are aware of the potential that exists in sales.

Just like last year it was a great experience where I met lots of enthusiastic and bright students. Thanks to the UBC Sauder Business School for asking me to join this awesome event and I look forward to next year!
